Sign Spinners
Asa thinks the people on the side of the road holding up signs in front of businesses are "trying to hide."

Wobbly Tummy
Asa walked in my room this morning and, gripping his stomach, said, "mommy, my tummy is wobbly." I'm immediately convinced he's going to barf all over the floor and am sitting straight up struggling to get my glasses on so I can escort him to the bathroom. Then, he says, "My tummy is wobbly. I'm hungry."
Note to self. A wobbly tummy is just a hungry tummy. Whew!

Norah is 6 months!
Time sure does fly by with baby 2! Hard to believe we're at half a year! Norah continues to be a pretty happy and easygoing baby. She's rolling all over and no longer gets mad when she rolls on her tummy because she can (usually) roll back to her back. She's definitely showing more interest in toys and likes to grab things and shake them. She loves to smile, especially at Asa. She also loves to spit!
Her introduction to solids is going well. The first bite she takes of anything gets a sour face expression, whether she likes the food or not, but she contines to eat whatever is on the spoon! So far we've done rice cereal, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, parsnips, apples, green beans, pears, prunes, and mangos. I think we'll try yogurt next (pediatrician recommended) or black beans... I've been bad about giving her solids more than once a day so she's still breast feeding as much as before. And we're STILL up two or three times a night. She's usually in bed at 8, up at 11:30, up at 1:30 or 2:30, and up at 4:30 or 5. We then get up around 7 for the day. This is wearing me out! Anyone else have/had a baby that was doing this at 6 months? She also refuses formula so there's no trading off with Tony for some relief.
Her 6 month check up went well- all is looking good!
Ht: 25 3/4"- 50%
Wt: 15#11oz- 48%
HC: 17"- 75%
It looks like her head is catching up with Asa's and Tony's! Ha ha.
