10 weeks to go!

I'm 29 weeks today but only 10 weeks from our scheduled c-section on Oct 2nd! Woo hoo for the home stretch :)

Question

Tony and I have been endlessly discussing and debating baby girl names. He hasn't fallen in love with any name. (He did with Asa). He's willing to go with a name I choose that he thinks is ok but not in love with.

Have you and your husbands loved every name you've chosen for your kids? I think he'd grow to love any name because it's his daughter's, but it feels weird if he's not 100% on board from the beginning.

Potty Training Take 2

We're giving it another go! Yesterday (day 1) went very well! Today has been even better- no accidents until 11am when he peed underneath the entertainment center?!? Not easy to clean up when you're 6 months pregnant. 

I'm trying to decide whether or not to urge him to learn to pee standing up. I can't decide if that will be more or less mess...

4th of July

We spent the 4th in Greeley with Tony's family. I took very few pictures to show it, but Asa had a ball with all his cousins! He swam in the blow up pool, ate hot dogs, and absolutely loved the fireworks!

Paddy and Lily made the trip with us and Paddy decided to sit on Asa's lap for part of the ride. This delighted Asa!

3 months!

We scheduled a c-section for Oct 2nd which is exactly three months from today! Woo hoo!

Obviously, she could decide to come earlier or we could opt out of the scheduled c-section if she's measuring significantly smaller than Asa, but it's exciting to have a potential birthday!

Socks

My name is Asa and I wear my socks on my hands. 

(This is not a rare occurrence- I do it every chance I get)!

Haircut

Asa's head is perpetually sweaty due to his ridiculously thick hair so Tony convinced me it was time for a haircut. I HATE cutting his hair- I think he looks adorable with messy, shaggy hair... I suppose it turned out better than I expected though.

I just know that our baby girl will be bald until she's three- I think Asa received all the hair genes!
